Wow...A year ago this time, I was bringing my brand new boyfriend up to Lisa and Jim's house to meet some of my family. What an unexpected bonus in my life... And Yes, I still think he's a keeper!
RonJon is currently in Army Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC. He is about half way done now and is doing well so far. He has been sick a bit since he's been there. Got the barracks crud and can't seem to shake the cough, but has still managed to keep up. He did especially well with the rappelling. Phone calls home have been really scarce so far, but he has done pretty well writing letters to Rachael. He should graduate basic around the 30th of April and then will be heading to Ft. Gordon in Augusta, GA for school.

yeah.... you brought him on the weekend I was gone and he hasn't come back since. Is he trying to tell me something?
Nope.. Just been kind of hectic lately.. And with him coming up on military orders so soon, I probably won't get to bring him back up there until after he gets back from Iraq. Seems that he wants to go see HIS family for a quick trip before he goes.. What's up with that?!
Tell him we have a gas powered post hole auger now so he won't have to work this time!
